Impressive results of a 4-year international cooperation of 24 European consortium partners and 120 innovators on innovations for climate disaster resilience deserver a great final conference.
When it became clear that a physical conference for BRIGAID was not a realistic option, the challenge was faced: how to organize an interesting online conference to present and celebrate the innovative results of four years BRIGAID, catch full audience attention to the final minute?
The consortium mobilized expertise on online events and prepared an innovative 90-minutes online programme with interviews, videos and audience interaction.
On Thursday, 25 June 2020 BRIGAID’s final conference was live broadcasted. End-users, an EU-policy officer as well as innovators were live interviewed on their experience with BRIGAID and the benefits and impacts of this international cooperation.
Through video’s insights in the development process of innovations within different European countries were shown.
In this final conference the BRIGAID consortium not only proudly presented its results, but also gave a pre-view on follow-up activities. Key partners from the BRIGAID consortium founded BRIGAID Connect., an organisation with the aim to support innovators in bridging the gap between their innovations and end-users.
As project coordinators, we happily look back on an innovative and highly interesting online conference featuring the outcomes of BRIGAID and the start of its follow-up. We hope that all attendees enjoyed it as much as we did!
