Bluebloqs is a visible, scalable and customisable solution to collect, treat and retain rainwater at building, street or neighbourhood level, making it suitable for uncoupling and aquifer storage and recharge for later use.

From your point of view, how has BRIGAID contributed to the development of your innovation/company? Which specific support provided by BRIGAID was most useful to you?

I would say the support of Brigaid has been most helpful to us on these three areas: 

First of all, we received coaching for our business plan, which has had a great influence on the development of it.

Also, we received financial support, making us able to test our technology.
We made a short video about this

And Visibility! By being visible on the Climate Innovation Window website, a big audience was targeted. We actually got one project by being founded on the CIW website.

Please let us know about your progress and expectations after receiving support from BRIGAID,

With financial support from Brigaid, we were able to test our technology. The results were very positive, leading to the launch of our first full-scale pilot in Rotterdam (NL). Without the help of Brigaid, it would’ve been a lot harder to make this happen.

After receiving support from Brigaid, we were able to replicate our first pilot in Valladolid (SPAIN). We were able to go international! We expect to further explore the (international) markets this year, especially in The Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.

The coaching we received for our business plan really helped us improve. We received help defining our geographical focus, helping to define our growth-path.
